Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of this website and our advisory services.
Last updated · 16 June 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of barnoqimmigrationsolutions.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by Barnoq Immigration Solutions (“Barnoq”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Site or engaging us to provide services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Specific services (consultations, casework, sponsor licence support, student placement) are governed by a separate written client-care letter or engagement letter, which prevails over these Terms in the event of any conflict.
2. Who we are
Barnoq Immigration Solutions is a UK immigration advisory and international education recruitment business with offices in Croydon, United Kingdom and Kumasi, Ghana.
We are regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) (transitioning to the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA)) to provide immigration advice and services. We are also a British Council Registered and ICEF Certified education recruitment agency. Our regulatory and registration details can be confirmed on request.
For all enquiries:
- Email: info@barnoqimmigrationsolutions.com
- Post: Croydon, United Kingdom (full address on request).
3. Services we provide
The services we offer fall into three broad areas:
- Individuals and families — UK and global visa applications (visit, family, skilled worker, settlement), immigration appeals, and related advice.
- International students — university and college placement, student visa applications, and pre-departure support.
- UK employers — sponsor licence applications, Certificate of Sponsorship management, compliance retainers, and Home Office audit preparation.
Full detail of each service, the scope of work, and the fees that apply is set out on our Services page and confirmed in your client-care letter.
4. No advice without engagement
The information on this Site is provided for general guidance only. It is not legal advice and you must not rely on it as a substitute for advice tailored to your situation. We can only provide regulated immigration advice once you have engaged us, paid any applicable consultation fee, and received our written client-care letter.
5. Bookings and consultations
You can book a free 15-minute callback or a paid 60-minute consultation through the Site. A paid consultation currently costs £150 (inclusive of VAT where applicable) and is taken securely through Stripe.
When you book, you confirm that:
- The personal information you provide is accurate and complete;
- You are at least 18 years of age (or are booking on behalf of a minor with their parent or legal guardian's consent);
- You have read and accept our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
6. Fees, payments, and VAT
Fees are quoted on the Services page and confirmed in your client-care letter. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Where VAT applies it is shown separately or noted as included.
Government fees (for example, Home Office application fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge, biometric fees, courier fees) are not included in our service fees. They are payable in addition and may be collected by us on your behalf and paid directly to the relevant authority. They are non-refundable once paid to the third party.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our systems.
7. Your obligations
To allow us to act for you, you agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information and documents;
- Notify us promptly of any change of circumstances that may affect your application (for example, change of address, employment, relationship, or criminal record);
- Respond to our requests for information and documents within the timescales we set, so we can meet application deadlines;
- Pay our fees and any applicable government fees in line with the payment terms in your client-care letter; and
- Not ask us to do anything unlawful, unethical, or contrary to our regulatory obligations.
If you give us inaccurate or incomplete information, or if you do not respond in time, we may not be able to meet a deadline and we will not be liable for any loss that results.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as confidential and only disclose it where:
- You have given consent (for example, to UKVI or a university);
- Disclosure is necessary to provide the service (for example, to professional advisers we instruct);
- We are required to disclose by law or by a regulator (including the OISC/IAA, the ICO, or anti-money-laundering authorities).
Full detail of how we handle personal information is in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is owned by Barnoq Immigration Solutions or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own personal use, but you may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any of the content without our prior written consent.
“Barnoq Immigration Solutions”, our logo, and any related branding are trademarks of Barnoq Immigration Solutions.
10. Acceptable use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Submit false, misleading, or inflammatory information through any form;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any connected database;
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code;
- Use any automated system (including scrapers, bots, or harvesting tools) to access the Site, except for legitimate search-engine indexing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
11. Availability of the Site
We aim to keep the Site available at all times but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or withdraw any part of the Site for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability.
12. Third-party content and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, partner universities, GOV.UK, Stripe, Cal.com, or our social media profiles). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Any third-party logos shown on the Site appear with permission or as fair illustration of partners we work with.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including your statutory rights as a consumer).
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) is capped at the fees you have paid to us for the service that gave rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the date the claim arose.
We are not liable for:
- The outcome of any application made to UKVI, an overseas immigration authority, an educational institution, or any other third party — those decisions are made by the third party in their own discretion;
- Any indirect, consequential, or special loss (including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or distress) that was not reasonably foreseeable when you engaged us;
- Loss caused by your failure to provide accurate or timely information.
We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by the OISC/IAA. Details are available on request.
14. Cancellation and refunds
Your right to cancel a consultation or service, and the circumstances in which a refund is available, are set out in our Refund Policy.
15. Termination of our engagement
Either of us may end our engagement on reasonable notice in writing. We may end the engagement immediately if:
- You ask us to do something unlawful or unethical;
- You have given us materially false information;
- You do not pay our fees when due;
- Continuing to act would put us in breach of our regulatory obligations.
On termination, we will invoice you for work properly done up to the date the engagement ends, and you remain responsible for any government fees already incurred.
16. Complaints
We aim to deliver an excellent service. If you are not happy with any aspect of our work, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue:
- Email: complaints@barnoqimmigrationsolutions.com
- Or post a written complaint to our Croydon office (address on request).
We will acknowledge your complaint within five (5) working days and respond substantively within twenty-eight (28) days, in line with the OISC/IAA Complaints Scheme. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the regulator:
- Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner / Immigration Advice Authority: gov.uk — OISC
- Telephone: 0345 000 0046 (or 020 7211 1500 from outside the UK)
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, government action, changes in immigration law or policy, industrial action, internet or telecommunications failures, pandemic, or war.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, our engagement, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your country of habitual residence where you are entitled to do so as a consumer.
